Hiring: Workplace Violence Prevention Manager Company: New York State Unified Court System Location: Albany County, NY Job Posted Time: 2026-09-16 20:47:22 About the job Required Skills: •Assisting with coordination of workplace violence prevention initiatives and activities and supporting compliance with applicable laws, required annual assessments and review, and internal policies; support the annual WVPP program review by reporting to and assisting unit leadership. •Providing day-to-day supervision and direction to Unit staff, assigning work, monitoring workflow, ensuring timely case processing, and maintaining consistent operational coverage. •Serving as a key point of contact for incident reporting and record-keeping, assisting in gathering documentation, reviewing reported incidents, and supporting managers in implementing corrective actions and prevention strategies, ensuring appropriate post-incident follow-up procedures are in place. •Providing technical guidance to HR staff, managers, and administrators on record-keeping and reporting procedures, workplace violence and workplace safety protocols, and prevention plans; maintaining inspection ready records in centralized system. •Assisting with training, outreach, and communication efforts, including preparation of guidance and awareness materials and coordination of required programs, including workplace safety, exposure control, and workplace violence prevention. •Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to analyze trends and emerging concerns to support advancement of safety goals and maintaining a hazard-free workplace. •Supporting development and improvement of policies, workflows, and response procedures as the Unit grows; promote inclusive, data-driven, evidence-based prevention programming align4ed with UCS’s mission and values. •Assisting with development and maintenance of tracking systems, templates, and technology supported documentation processes to strengthen monitoring and documentation; coordinate program metrics, performance measures, and improvement activities; translate data and trends into actionable recommendations. Qualifications: •One year in the Senior Management Analyst title; or Master's degree in Public or Business Administration from an accredited college or university and four (4) years of relevant experience; or An equivalent combination of education and experience.
