Required Skills: •Supervision and oversight of treatment and case management services. •Oversight of assessment procedures and outcomes and review of continuing stay justifications. •Review of ASAM-based assessments and oversight of the development of Treatment Authorization Requests. •Evaluation of assessments and determination of appropriate modality of treatment. •Review and approval of treatment plans and justifications for continued treatment. •Oversight of client charts, including progress notes, discharge planning, and care coordination. •Supervision of group facilitation and compliance with evidence-based practices. •Implementation, training, and supervision of evidence-based practices. Qualifications: •A Substance Abuse Counseling Certification from a State of California Accredited Certifying Board is required unless you possess a professional license (e.g. LCSW, LMFT, etc.). •Must be knowledgeable about the Department of Health Care Services and Drug Medi-Cal regulations, standards, and guidelines, including the rules and regulations affecting the clients served. •Previous experience in staff supervision, quality assurance activities, providing clinical direction, and designing therapeutic interventions.
