Hiring: Wellbeing Specialist Company: Compass Health Network Location: Clinton, MO Job Posted Time: 2026-09-15 11:13:38 About the job Required Skills: •Facilitate skills-based groups, wellness education, and therapeutic activities that promote independence and personal growth. •Support clients in developing coping strategies, symptom management skills, and community living abilities. •Provide advocacy, crisis intervention, outreach, and ongoing support as needed. •Partner cross-functionally with treatment teams, families (when appropriate), and relevant providers to ensure coordinated care. •Complete required documentation, wellness plans, and records accurately and on time. •Ensure culturally responsive, compassionate service delivery aligned with organizational mission and policies. •Safely transport clients to designated activities and community opportunities. •Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree in a human service-related field preferred Qualifications: •At least four (4) years of experience OR a combination of higher education and experience required if a High School/GED is the highest education obtained •At least two (2) years of experience OR a combination of higher education and experience required if an Associate’s degree is the highest education obtained •If the degree is an Associate’s of Applied Science in Behavioral Health Support from an approved institution; then no additional experience is required •At least one (1) year of experience required if a non-human service Bachelor’s degree is the highest education obtained •All experience must include working with individuals with psychiatric, substance use, and/or developmental disabilities •Valid driver’s license at the time of hire with the ability to obtain and maintain a Class E MO driver’s license by the end of the 60-day introductory period •Enjoy leading groups, teaching skills, and creating uplifting activities. •Approach others with empathy, curiosity, and respect. •Communicate clearly and work collaboratively as part of a care team. •Feel energized by supporting people as they build independence and wellness.
