Hiring: VP of Corporate Safety & Risk Company: Zeus Fire and Security Location: St Louis, MO Job Posted Time: 2026-09-11 15:03:28 Target Skills & Keywords : Root Cause Analysis About the job Experience: •7+ years of progressive safety leadership experience, preferably within field service, construction, fire and security, electrical, HVAC, or similar industries. Required Skills: •Develop and execute enterprise safety strategy aligned with business growth, operational priorities, and value creation objectives. •Establish a consistent safety operating model across all locations, including standards, processes, metrics, and accountability. •Assess current safety performance, identify critical risks, and create a roadmap to improve safety outcomes. •Serve as enterprise safety advisor to executive and operational leadership. •Safety Program Development •Field safety standards and job hazard assessments •Incident reporting and investigation processes •Vehicle, PPE, and contractor safety standards Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management, Occupational Health, Business, Operations, or related field; advanced degree or professional safety certification preferred. •Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, safety management systems, risk mitigation practices, and workplace safety standards. •Demonstrated success in developing and implementing enterprise safety programs that improve performance, reduce risk, and drive cultural change. •Strong communication, coaching, and training skills, with the ability to translate safety requirements into practical solutions for employees and leaders. •Demonstrated capacity to analyze safety data, identify trends, and develop actionable recommendations to improve business outcomes. •Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to conduct root cause analysis and implement sustainable corrective actions. •Demonstrated capacity to build strong partnerships and influence across all levels of an organization, including executive leadership, operations teams, and field employees. •Standard work hours are Monday through Friday, with flexibility required to support business needs, including occasional evenings or weekends. •Occasional travel may be required (up to 25%) to support safety assessments, training, leadership meetings, and operational initiatives across Zeus locations.
