Hiring: VP Corporate Development & Principal Investments Company: Selby Jennings Location: Austin, TX Job Posted Time: 2026-09-16 11:52:12 Target Skills & Keywords : Portfolio Management About the job Required Skills: •· Own the financial and valuation analysis of potential acquisitions and transactions - including unleveraged, leveraged, and structured modeling - with minimal day-to-day oversight. •· Independently identify, size, and articulate the major risks associated with an investment opportunity, in both verbal and written form to executive team. •· Manage the day-to-day investment process on assigned deals: due diligence, market research, physical and location assessment, comparables analysis, and coordination with internal teams and third-party providers. •· Contribute directly to deal structuring and financing discussions, partnering with the ED on pricing, terms, and risk positioning. •· Coordinate work product with legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory parties. •· Collaborate across Portfolio Management, Asset Management, Property Management, Acquisitions, and Construction on new and existing initiatives. •· Prepare board- and executive-level reporting materials on tight timelines. •· Help develop client- and lender-facing presentations, and participate directly in select client and lender conversations alongside senior team members.
