Hiring: VOLUNTEER & COMMUNITY OUTREACH COORDINAT Company: Integritus Healthcare Location: Greenfield, MA Job Posted Time: 2026-09-15 13:54:16 Employment Type: Full-time Target Skills & Keywords : Risk Management About the job Experience: •Minimum of 2 years of recent significant responsibility for recruitment, supervision, training, and recognition of volunteers or similar responsibilities in human resource management. •Minimum of 2 years of experience in a health care setting. Hospice and/or volunteer experience preferred. •Has knowledge of hospice philosophy; hospice volunteer training preferred. Required Skills: •Develop, implement, and maintain volunteer training and orientation program. •Recruit, educate, and select volunteers from at least two (2) recruitment and training sessions per year. •Assist in training volunteers for assignments to various departments in the agency •Supervise and evaluate volunteers in a timely and appropriate manner. •Ensure volunteers comply with annual safety, training, and administrative requirements. •Maintain monthly statistics and program records per standards. •Coordinate support and education, meetings, and events for the volunteer team. •Orient new employees and others (interns, students, visitors) to the PVHPC volunteer program. Qualifications: •Demonstrates strong written and oral communication skills and public relations skills. •Demonstrates autonomy, organization, assertiveness, flexibility, and cooperation in performing job responsibilities. •Demonstrates excellent observation, verbal and written communication skills. •Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language proficiently •Demonstrated capacity to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines •Demonstrated capacity to successfully relate and respond to the needs of management, team members, and hospice patients/caregivers. •Demonstrated capacity to represent and articulate the Integritus mission, vision, and strategies in developing, implementing, and coordinating the Volunteer program. •Must be knowledgeable of hospice practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to hospice. •Demonstrated capacity to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret the programs, goals and objectives, policies and procedures that relate to the Volunteer Coordinator function •Demonstrated capacity to organize and develop volunteer hospice personnel for both patient and organizational needs.
