Required Skills: •Compose visually engaging shots using thoughtful framing, movement, lighting, and camera techniques that elevate the storytelling experience across multiple content formats. •Comfort operating as a "run-and-gun" creator—handling camera, basic lighting (e.g., lightweight LED panels/softboxes), and audio simultaneously without needing a grip or director on set. •Shoot with platform-specific content in mind, capturing footage optimized for vertical (9:16) and horizontal (16:9) formats while anticipating editing needs. Proficiency with shooting on IPhones, Sony Mirrorless Cameras, Canon C70, and Canon C100. •Lighting & Audio: Set up and operate professional lighting, microphones, wireless audio systems, and camera support equipment to ensure broadcast-quality visuals and sound. •Occasional travel to card shows, on location live events, and special productions to document content efficiently in dynamic environments. •Maintain, organize, transport, and troubleshoot cameras, lenses, lighting, audio gear, batteries, media cards, and production accessories. Qualifications: •Demonstrated experience capturing high-quality content across interviews, events, lifestyle, product, documentary, and social-first productions. •A strong portfolio or demo reel showcasing cinematic camera work, lighting, composition, storytelling, and experience creating both long-form and short-form content. •Advanced experience operating professional cinema and mirrorless camera systems (Sony, Canon, RED, or similar), along with a wide variety of lenses and stabilization systems. Experience with macro lenses, polarizers, and glare reduction for product B-Roll. •In-depth knowledge of lighting techniques, wireless audio systems, field recording, and on-location production workflows. •Social Media Knowledge: Understanding of how content is captured differently for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, Facebook, and emerging digital platforms, with an emphasis on audience retention and engagement. •Demonstrated capacity to travel for productions, auctions, sporting events, conventions, and other company initiatives. •Demonstrated capacity to work independently, manage multiple productions simultaneously, pivot quickly in changing production environments, and consistently deliver under tight deadlines. •A passion for sports, pop culture, gaming, and collectibles is a major plus. •Operational familiarity with gimbal operation (DJI Ronin), and advanced camera movement techniques. •Solid functional working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and basic post-production workflows to better collaborate with editors.
