Hiring: Vice President of Mission Advancement Company: The Healing Place Location: Louisville, KY Job Posted Time: 2026-09-12 14:28:15 Target Skills & Keywords : Financial Planning, Microsoft Office About the job Required Skills: •Strategic Leadership & Fundraising •Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive Mission Advancement strategy aligned with organizational priorities and revenue goals across all program and service locations. •Partner with the CEO, Executive Leadership Team, and Board of Directors to strengthen philanthropic engagement and support long-term organizational growth. •Establish fundraising goals, performance metrics, and accountability measures to achieve annual and multi-year revenue objectives. •Identify and develop emerging philanthropic, corporate, community, and partnership opportunities that strengthen The Healing Place's mission, increase organizational visibility, and support long-term sustainability and growth. •Provide regular updates to leadership and the Board regarding fundraising progress, pipeline activity, opportunities, and challenges. •Donor, Grant & Partnership Development •Maintain and actively manage a portfolio of major donors, corporate partners, foundations, and prospective supporters. Qualifications: •Bachelor's degree preferred •Eight (8) or more years of progressive leadership experience in nonprofit development, fundraising, philanthropy, community relations, business development, or a related field. •Demonstrated success developing and executing fundraising strategies that generate measurable revenue growth through major gifts, grants, corporate partnerships, sponsorships, and other philanthropic investments. •Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams while translating strategic vision into actionable plans, measurable outcomes, accountability, and sustained results. •Demonstrated success partnering with boards of directors and volunteer leaders to advance fundraising strategy, donor engagement, philanthropic initiatives, and community relationships. •Exceptional relationship-building, communication, negotiation, public speaking, presentation, and storytelling skills, with experience engaging executive leaders, boards of directors, donors, foundations, and community stakeholders. •Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and donor management/CRM systems; DonorPerfect experience preferred. •Passion for advancing recovery, behavioral health, health and human services, or other mission-driven community impact initiatives strongly preferred.
