Required Skills: •Elevation Point is seeking a VP, Data & Analytics Engineering to build and manage the data foundation supporting our advisor platform, operational reporting, business intelligence, and AI capabilities. •This role owns Elevation Point's Snowflake environment and works across systems including Salesforce, Addepar, Black Diamond, Orion, custodial platforms, and Basecamp. This person will integrate data, build reliable data models, improve data quality, and make information easier for business users and AI tools to access and understand. •The ideal candidate can translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions, work effectively with internal leaders and external technology partners, and independently move projects from discovery through implementation. •Develop, maintain, and improve Elevation Point's Snowflake data environment. •Design scalable data models that support reporting, analytics, system integrations, and AI use cases. •Establish canonical data objects and consistent definitions for households, clients, accounts, advisors, partner firms, and other core business entities. •Build and maintain data pipelines that integrate information from portfolio-management, CRM, custodial, operational, and third-party systems. •Evaluate existing tables, views, and integrations for accuracy, duplication, performance, and ongoing relevance. Qualifications: •Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, data analytics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. •Hands-on experience developing and managing solutions in Snowflake. •Advanced SQL skills, including data modeling, transformation, performance optimization, and troubleshooting. •Solid functional working knowledge of Python or another scripting language used for data processing and automation. •Demonstrated capacity to translate business requirements into practical data and technology solutions. •Strong attention to detail and a demonstrated commitment to data accuracy. •Demonstrated capacity to communicate technical concepts clearly to business users and senior leadership. •Comfortable working independently in a growing organization with evolving priorities. •Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work across internal teams, partner firms, and external vendors. •Operational familiarity with platforms such as Salesforce or Practifi, Addepar, Black Diamond, Orion, and Power BI.
