You've sat across the table from risk, compliance, audit, or resilience leaders and translated their problems into deployable solutions. You know the difference between a feature request and a governance outcome. •Real AI and data fluency. Not a vocabulary — working understanding of how agentic systems, data models, and integrations actually behave in production, deep enough to have a technical opinion and to earn credibility with engineers. •Consultative DNA. You default to diagnosis before prescription. You're comfortable asking "why" three more times than feels natural before proposing an answer. •Presales credibility. You can hold your own in front of a CCO, CISO or Chief Risk Officer in a vision workshop, and you know the difference between a demo that dazzles and a prototype that actually earns trust in a deal. •Comfort with unmapped territory. This role will regularly operate without a playbook. You build the playbook as you go, and you're energized rather than anxious about that. Required Skills: •Reports to Chief Customer Officer •New, distinct org — peer to (not a replacement for) the existing core Solutions organization, which continues to own non-AI GRC solutioning and also reports to the CCO •MetricStream is evolving from a GRC system of record into a system of intelligence, decisions and actions and an AI-native Governance Operating System — one that orchestrates first-party, second-party, and third-party agents across risk, compliance, cyber, audit, and resilience workflows. •That shift changes what "customer success" means. It's no longer enough to create good products and configure them well; today we need to solve a customer's GRC problems, prove the outcome, and then advise upon and engineer the next thing they didn't know to ask for. •That's this role. The VP of Customer Outcomes & Forward Engineering sits at the intersection of GRC domain expertise, applied AI, and consultative delivery — turning customer ambiguity into shipped outcomes with speed and clarity.
