Required Skills: •Define, document, and evolve the design language, visual standards, and interaction guidelines for the client's analytics products spanning custom web applications and BI dashboards (Tableau, ThoughtSpot, Plotly). •Design and maintain a library of reusable components, templates, and layout patterns for web applications and Tableau dashboards, enabling BI engineers and full-stack developers to build consistent, high-quality experiences at speed. •Design and specify Tableau visualization extensions and custom viz patterns where native capabilities fall short of stakeholder needs. •Curate and govern the use of client brand assets (color palettes, typography, iconography, logos) across the analytics ecosystem, ensuring adherence to the client's brand and accessibility standards. •Lead the UX workstream for the centralization of over 80 dashboards into a single hub: information architecture, navigation models, page templates, and consistent dashboard anatomy, based on guidance from the client's BI team. •Translate stakeholder reporting and self-service analytics needs into wireframes, prototypes, and detailed design specs; iterate based on user feedback and usage insights. •Partner closely with up to 15 Fractal BI engineers and full-stack developers to ensure faithful implementation of designs, providing design QA, redlines, and hands-on support through build and release. •Collaborate directly with client analytics engineering, BI, and data science stakeholders to gather requirements, present design directions, and align on standards and roadmaps. Qualifications: •Hands-on experience designing for BI and data-visualization environments; direct experience with Tableau (including dashboard design and viz extensions) is strongly preferred, with exposure to ThoughtSpot or Plotly a plus. •Fluent in modern design tooling (Figma or equivalent) for component libraries, prototypes, and design specs, and comfortable working within an established enterprise brand system. •Understands front-end fundamentals (HTML/CSS, responsive layouts, component-based frameworks) well enough to collaborate effectively with full-stack developers and produce implementable specs. •Applies data-visualization principles and accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG, color contrast, legibility at scale) rigorously in their work. •Is a strong individual contributor who can independently drive a design workstream within a larger engineering-led delivery team, managing their own priorities across multiple parallel requests. •Communicates clearly and confidently with senior client stakeholders, presenting and defending design decisions grounded in user needs and business goals. •Loves an entrepreneurial culture and is excited about bringing design craft into a data and AI ecosystem.
