Work schedules may include nights, afternoons, weekends holidays and occasional unanticipated overtime. This is a uniformed position following the DPSS uniformed dress code. Patrol assignments may include both mobile and building specific responsibilities. •The pay range for new external hires is $48,942.40 to $59,550.40 per year, based on education and experience. •The full pay range for current DPSS Security Officers is $48,942.40 to $61,921.60 per year, based on education and experience. •This salary information is based on the collective bargaining agreement between the University of Michigan and the Police Officers Association of Michigan, effective as of December 21st, 2025.
