Key duties include calibrating programmable controls of the machine, monitoring production output and quality, and reporting operational data to management. •Prepare the Tub Machine for start-up and shutdown by verifying safety and operational readiness. •Ensure all program and control settings are accurately set before running and after changeovers. •Activate and monitor the Tub Machine process, making adjustments as needed to maintain correct weight control and product flow in line with established quality standards. •Perform hourly metal-detection verification checks. •Complete required checks and related paperwork, ensuring accurate recording of data. •Change film and date codes when required; verify that “date-code” and “best before” information on tubs is correct. •Maintain a clean workstation and safe work environment; take ownership of machine by cleaning, inspecting and lubricating as needed throughout the shift.
