Required Skills: •The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of engineering design and/or management experience on transmission projects. This position is responsible for managing a portfolio of Transmission-focused engineering design projects as well as providing support to others Market representatives in their marketing and business development goals. •Lead projects in the preparation of utility engineering designs, cost estimates, and customer billing. •Manage the engineering and financial aspects of multiple projects ranging from 34.5kV to 500kV. •Prepare scope and estimates for proposals and statements of qualifications to utility clients. •Develop project work plans and budget projections to effectively deploy people on project. •Review, interpret, and act upon business metrics. Including backlog, work in process, account receivables, work bookings, and revenue. •Review, interpret and act upon business metrics including utilization, backlog, work in process and account receivables •Prepare, maintain and coordinate schedules of multiple concurrent projects Qualifications: •Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural or Electrical, Engineering from an ABET-accredited engineering program. •Professional disposition and the ability to be open-minded when it comes to planning and execution of projects being worked by staff. •Must be able to independently direct a team of Engineers & Engineering Technicians while maintaining work product quality, consistency, accuracy, and reliability. •Knowledge of overhead & underground Transmission facilities and understanding of its integration into daily activities. •Operational familiarity with NESC, ASCE, IEEE, and other industry-relevant standards •Understanding of industry design software. •Proficiency in MS Office Software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Project) •For Preferred Consideration (Not Required) •Active PE or PMP licensure •Understands how design decisions impact construction can verify construction is in compliance with plans and requirements.
