Hiring: Training & Safety Coordinator Company: Standard Motor Products Location: Greenville, SC Job Posted Time: 2026-09-03 14:49:08 Target Skills & Keywords : Microsoft Office, Segment About the job Experience: •2 years of safety experience in manufacturing/distribution OR 4 years in a safety role in manufacturing/distribution •2 years experience in a training coordination/leadership capacity Required Skills: •Evaluate hazards within the facility for safety, health, and environmental risks and recommend improvements. •Evaluate existing health and safety procedures and programs for all departments and develop new procedures and programs where necessary. •Monitor cross-training with training matrix and recommend /execute training plans with supervisors. •Lead the facility Safety Team. •Lead accident and injury investigations, investigations of environmental incidents, recommend appropriate action, and manage OSHA 300 log. •Manage the Worker’s Compensation program in partnership with HR. •Maintain hourly education/training records for all employees with training matrix and reports •Conduct all employee training on safety policies, procedures, and regulations. Qualifications: •Associate degree and 2 years of safety experience in manufacturing/distribution OR 4 years in a safety role in manufacturing/distribution •Solid functional working knowledge of OSHA regulations and requirements. •Demonstrated capacity to interact with federal, state, and local regulatory agencies. •Understanding of worker’s compensation and liability insurance claims. •Excellent written and oral communication skills.
