Required Skills: •Perform advanced analytical tasks with large and complex data, which includes collection, analysis, and presentation of data. •Perform analytical tests to support ongoing work on credentials of value methodology, ensuring alignment with labor market outcomes, institutional costs, and student success metrics. •Produce reports on complex policies and practices in higher education and the workforce. •Run data metrics related to but not limited to credentials of value, degree attainment, and workforce Pell, in a timely manner. •Demonstrate both written and verbal communication skills that effectively develop and present data (e.g., concise technical documentation, data visualizations, written and tabular reports, informal and formal presentations, publications) to various stakeholders. •Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to provide data that informs business needs. •Respond to Legislative requests for information, data, and the design or implementation of studies and analyzes legislation in coordination with internal agency management and staff. •Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications: •Expert in quantitative methods and statistical concepts and methods and their application to data analysis. •Demonstrated capacity to use data and research to inform effective implementation of policies and programs. •Knowledge of research methods, sources, principles, and philosophies. •Demonstrated capacity to plan, organize and conduct complex research projects. •Knowledge of higher education and workforce data. •Skill in using statistical/analytical software (e.g., SAS, SQL, SPSS, or other package). •Demonstrated capacity to write and prepare concise reports. •Demonstrated capacity to communicate effectively in written and oral forms with a variety of internal and external audiences. •Demonstrated capacity to communicate complex data insights and solutions to non-technical stakeholders clearly and compellingly. •Demonstrated capacity to analyze complex problems and develop solutions using appropriate professional judgment and reasoning.
