Required Skills: •Operate field-deployed equipment, including but not limited to: laser systems, passive and active detection systems, and various diagnostic equipment (e.g., cameras, photodiodes, calorimeters, and other electro-optical sensors). •Perform routine troubleshooting, calibration, and basic maintenance on field equipment to ensure optimal performance during testing events. •Ensure strict compliance with all site safety protocols, specifically regarding laser safety and hazardous test environments. •Read, interpret, and provide input on technical drawings, schematics, and system diagrams. •Participate with the team in conducting test planning, briefings, test event execution, data collection and archiving, data analysis, and test report writing. •Develop training manuscripts, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and deployment guides covering setup and teardown criteria for field-deployed equipment. •Provide support for coordinating technical requirements with all other Contractors and Government organizations necessary to accomplish the project. •Ensure all laser systems are operated in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ANSI Z136.1 (Safe Use of Lasers) standards. Qualifications: •Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position. •Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation. •Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance for the position. •Must be willing to travel up to 35% of the time.
