Primary Care experience is preferred. Required Skills: •Must be actively licensed in Georgia •Manage a high volume patient case-load. •Provide comprehensive assessments and diagnoses of eating disorders and co-occurring psychiatric conditions (psychiatric consultation available). •Implement medication treatment plans for eating disorders and co-occurring conditions in a virtual clinic (i.e. telehealth) setting. •Partner cross-functionally with a multidisciplinary treatment team of physicians, dietitians, therapists, patient mentors, and family mentors, along with outside providers. •Utilize between-session messaging to support patients and communicate with the treatment team through Equip EMR in accordance with Equip’s policies and procedures. •Engage in treatment team meetings, supervision, and department meetings. •Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: •Board Certified as a Physician Assistant •Demonstrated capacity to maintain active Physician Assistant licenses and pursue cross licensing as applicable (cost of licenses to be covered by Equip). •Demonstrate a commitment to providing excellent evidence-based care, advancing clinical skills, and a passion for professional development. •Communicate effectively with patients and patient’s carers, and respond to messages within a timely manner. •Be curious, enjoy learning, and participate enthusiastically and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team. •Equip allows Patient Scheduling, Monday - Friday, between 8am-8pm in the Patient's timezone. •Demonstrated capacity to provide direct patient care, including new patients and follow-up sessions. •Demonstrated capacity to commit to working until 6 pm two evenings per week (you choose which evenings). •Demonstrated capacity to attend mandatory meetings (i.e Group Supervision, Treatment Huddles, Labs/All Hands, Individual Supervision, etc.). •Robust training in evidence-based treatments for eating disorders, including Family-Based Treatment, Enhanced Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for ARFID. Comparable training workshops and supervision in these modalities are valued over $3,000.
