The typical schedule is Monday - Friday 8am-4:30pm. The schedule will include saturday rotations and on call. •Install, splice, and test fiber optic and copper cables for projects, maintenance, and emergency repairs. •Perform dark fiber, reel, continuity, and conformance testing using industry-standard equipment (e.g., OTDR, T-Berd). •Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair existing fiber and copper networks, locating and resolving faults to ensure service continuity. •Install, configure, and enable residential and small business telecommunication services such as POTS, HSI, VDSL, FTTH, and networking. •Connect and manage wiring/cabling, terminals, and hardware attachments on customer premises, poles, and inside facilities. •Read and interpret service orders, repair tickets, technical drawings, blueprints, diagrams, and maps to execute work accurately. •Coordinate testing of customer lines with test centers or designated personnel and document results per company standards.
