The typical schedule is Monday - Friday 8am-4:30pm. May also include nights, holidays, and on call rotations. •Install, splice, and test copper cables for projects, maintenance, and emergency repairs. •Perform reel, continuity, and conformance testing using industry-standard equipment (e.g., OTDR, T-Berd). •Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair existing copper networks, locating and resolving faults to ensure service continuity. •Install, configure, and enable residential and small business telecommunication services such as POTS, HSI, VDSL, FTTH, and networking. •Connect and manage wiring/cabling, terminals, and hardware attachments on customer premises, poles, and inside facilities. •Read and interpret service orders, repair tickets, technical drawings, blueprints, diagrams, and maps to execute work accurately. •Coordinate testing of customer lines with test centers or designated personnel and document results per company standards. Qualifications: •Prior experience as a customer facing telecom operations technician. •Basic electricity training/certification or equivalent work experience. •ADSL installation/repair experience (self/full installs). •A+/Net + Certified Required Soft Skills.
