Hiring: Technology Analyst 1 (Rapid Application Development) - OPWDD/OFA/JC Company: NYS Office of Information Technology Services Location: New York, NY Job Posted Time: 2026-09-12 14:02:54 Employment Type: Contract Target Skills & Keywords : AI, Product Management, Quality Assurance About the job Required Skills: •The New York State Office of Information Technology Services (ITS) provides operational support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days of the year, supporting more than 4,900 applications for 53 New York State Agencies. •Specific Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To Work closely with other teams to implement and support usage of MS Dynamics 365. •Troubleshoot and modify heavily customized forms, views and scripts to work with multiple browser types and versions. •Develop and implement new functionality per business and technology requirements •Ensure that the current functionality provided in CHOICES runs successfully, including web services with other systems, canvas applications, file uploads, SSRS reports, and data extracts. •Monitor event viewers and IIS logs and other tools for errors, unusual entries, and possible performance issues and address problems. •Communicate extensively with end-users to resolve production problems and business unit inquiries, including Level 2 and 3 Help Desk tickets. Qualifications: •Five (5) years of *information technology experience, one (1) year of which must be within the appropriate specialty •Specialty includes experience within one or more of the following information technology disciplines: artificial intelligence, cloud solutions, human centered design, product management, quality assurance, rapid application development, robotic product management, geospatial information services. •Appointment to this position is not final until all agency approvals have been granted. •Fingerprinting and a background check is required for employment with ITS. •Some positions may require up to 25% travel and/or lifting up to 50 lbs. Some positions are pending Civil Service approval.
