Hiring: Technician - Global Parts Solutions Company: GlobalFoundries Location: Malta, NY Job Posted Time: 2026-09-11 13:02:19 Target Skills & Keywords : Foundry, PCB About the job Experience: •3-4 years’ experience with electronic repair of PCB/Controllers/Robots/Power Supplies, other similar relevant military training / credentials, and/or similar relevant experience •4 years’ experience with electronic repair of PCB/Controllers/Robots/Power Supplies, other similar relevant military training / credentials, and/or similar relevant experience Required Skills: •Provide bench repair for electronic components (PCBs, Controllers, Cables, Robots, Power Supplies), automated material handler components and systems repair/refurb, and computer/controller repair for the Electronic Repair Shop at Fab 8 •Generate and execute standard work practices for electronic repair •Develop Electronic Repair Pipelines & Standard Work for Repair Work •Develop and implement standards and standard work by utilizing job breakdown sheets and ensure training plans are in place for team members •Interface directly with Modules to Determine High Leverage Opportunities and turn them into Productivity Results •Support fab for critical tool down repairs with high quality and efficiency •Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements, and programs Qualifications: •Strong communication skills and ability to work within a tightly coupled team •Language Fluency – Fluent in English Language – both written & verbal •Demonstrated capacity to work in a cleanroom environment per semiconductor protocol/requirements •Demonstrated capacity to wear all required clean room protective clothing and equipment •Demonstrated capacity to lift to 40 pounds / bending / twisting •Direct experience working in semiconductor manufacturing •Strong team player with ability to work well within a global team Compensation: •$43,100 - $70,600 / year Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
