This role translates complex scientific, engineering, and technical concepts into concise, easy-to-understand documentation for technical and non-technical audiences. •The Technical Writer works closely with customers, engineers, developers, and program staff to convert functional and operational requirements into detailed technical documentation and specifications that support system development, operations, compliance, and end-user adoption. •Develop and maintain technical documentation, including How-to guides, User manuals, Reference documents, Cheat sheets, Instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs) •Translate scientific and technical concepts into clear, plain-language documentation •Work directly with customers to translate functional requirements into detailed technical specifications •Partner cross-functionally with software developers, engineers, and system administrators to document system functionality and workflows •Produce developer-oriented documentation in support of system design, development, and maintenance Qualifications: •Technical Writing or Technical Communication certification •CompTIA Security+ CE (for roles supporting RMF or security documentation) •Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time and typing and reading from a computer screen.
