Required Skills: •Develop, write, revise, and maintain technical content for IETMs, NATOPS/NATIP publications. •Review and interpret engineering source data. •Translate complex engineering and system information into clear, concise, and technically accurate content appropriate for the intended operator, maintainer, or end user. •Develop new publication content and revise existing content to incorporate engineering changes. •Develop and update operational descriptions, maintenance instructions, troubleshooting information, procedures, warnings, cautions, notes, and other technical content as required. •Interface directly with Data Authors to ensure written technical content is appropriately structured and incorporated into S1000D data modules. •Use EAGLE, Arbortext, and other technical publication or XML-based authoring tools. •Coordinate with Engineering, Product Lifecycle Management, Curriculum, and subject matter experts. Qualifications: •Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, English, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience. •Operational familiarity with S1000D and structured technical publication concepts. •Operational familiarity with EAGLE, Arbortext, or equivalent technical publication and structured authoring tools. •Strong technical writing, grammar, editing, research, and communication skills. •US Citizenship and eligibility for a DoD Security Clearance is required. •Operational familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM) and working within cost and schedule-controlled DoD programs. •Active DoD Secret clearance or higher is preferred.
