Hiring: Technical Services Specialist Company: LVC Companies Location: Golden Valley, MN Job Posted Time: 2026-09-03 11:23:12 Employment Type: Remote Target Skills & Keywords : Microsoft Office, Systems Integration, VPN About the job Required Skills: •Check Local Service Providers (LSPs) in and out for assigned evening work, confirming arrival, departure, site access, and work status. •Validate LSP scope progress, collect key field updates, and document blockers, material needs, safety concerns, or customer-impacting issues. •Coordinate escalations and handoffs when LSP work cannot be completed during the assigned shift. •Review completed work, service notes, photos, programming details, and closeout information for accuracy and completeness. •Provide quality control feedback to technicians, subcontractors, and LSPs to ensure work aligns with LVC standards, customer expectations, and project requirements. •Identify repeat issues, documentation gaps, and service delivery risks, and escalate findings to the appropriate Technical Services or project leadership contact. •National Project Support •Provide evening coverage for national account project activity, including remote technical support, work status validation, troubleshooting assistance, and project documentation updates. Qualifications: •Annual compensation ranging from $56,160 - $74,880 depending on qualifications. Apply and find out why LVC is the right employer for you. •Demonstrated capacity to obtain LVC line card manufacturer certifications. •Understanding of low voltage system integration (video surveillance, intrusion, access control, data cabling and fire) is required. •Understanding of network technology integration with low voltage systems is required. •Operational familiarity with the National Electric Code (NEC). •Minimum five years of experience in installing and troubleshooting video surveillance and card access systems is required. •Prior technical service, remote support, LSP/vendor coordination, QA/QC, or after-hours escalation experience preferred. •Technical school degree preferred. •National account or multi-site project support experience preferred. •Strong familiarity with industry best practices.
