Required Skills: •Partner directly with founders and hiring managers, develop targeted sourcing strategies, evaluate technical talent, manage candidate and client relationships, and close competitive searches. •This is an agency recruiting role for someone who values technical depth, sound judgment, and measurable results. We care about placements, fees earned, candidate quality, and client trust—not activity for activity’s sake. •Own full-cycle searches for senior and staff-level software engineers at competitive, well-funded technology companies. •Lead intake conversations that produce a clear search strategy, including the technical bar, target companies, likely tradeoffs, and candidate scorecard. •Evaluate engineers credibly by understanding what they built, the scope of their ownership, the technical environment, and the difference between senior- and staff-level impact. •Explain and defend candidate assessments to technical hiring managers. •Build focused pipelines through targeted outbound sourcing, referrals, market research, and our proprietary candidate database—not LinkedIn Recruiter alone. •Use modern AI-assisted sourcing and research tools to identify candidates and work more efficiently.
