Location: Fremont, CA Job Posted Time: 2026-09-17 10:57:01 Employment Type: On-site Target Skills & Keywords : Program Management, R About the job Experience: •3+ years of experience in automotive, EV, or energy storage product development •5+ years of experience in Technical Program Management, Program Management, or equivalent customer-facing leadership roles Required Skills: •Serve as the primary point of contact for US customers throughout battery cell and/or pack development programs •Lead customer engagement, including technical discussions, program reviews, issue resolution, and escalation management •Lead and facilitate technical meetings and workshops; ensure clear documentation, action tracking, and alignment with internal teams and customers •Lead cross functional teams throughout RFI/RFQs process and technical proposals in collaboration with engineering and commercial teams •Lead the development of battery cell and pack programs from concept through production, coordinating closely with customers and internal cross functional teams •Develop, maintain, and communicate detailed program schedules, milestones, and deliverables •Identify program risks across technical, schedule, cost, and quality and drive mitigation plans •Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and commercial across regions to meet program timing, deliverables and cost Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Materials, or related discipline) •Good understanding of Li-ion battery cell and/or battery pack systems, including development and validation processes •Proven experience working directly with US or global automotive OEM customers •Solid knowledge of automotive product development and launch processes, including DV/PV, APQP, and PPAP •Demonstrated ability to manage complex technical programs involving multiple stakeholders, tight timelines, and evolving requirements •Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to clearly communicate with customers and senior leadership •Willingness and ability to travel internationally as required •Base pay is one part of our total compensation package at Gotion, and is determined within a range.
