Qualifications: •High School Diploma/GED. •Must possess good working knowledge of maintenance tools, equipment & procedures. Good interpersonal and oral communications skills. •Non-Covered Safety Sensitive Position; Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. •Maintains and repair all package sorting and container handling equipment; maintains all electrical, electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical systems in accordance with established FedEx maintenance procedures. Performs other duties as assigned. •High school diploma/GED •Four (4) years experience, of which 24 months being as a FedEx sort systems technician, or 24 months of maintenance on similar equipment/systems, as a commercial/industrial maintenance technician with background in electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic & materials handling systems maintenance. •Must be willing to work odd work weeks, o/t, holidays & rotating shifts.
