Hiring: Tech Services Engineer Company: Allspring Global Investments Location: Charlotte, NC Job Posted Time: 2026-09-10 11:03:01 Employment Type: Hybrid Target Skills & Keywords : AWS, Event-Driven, Root Cause Analysis, Workday About the job Experience: •3+ years of experience designing and supporting enterprise data orchestration, integration, automation, or data movement solutions. •3+ years of experience engineering and supporting Managed File Transfer (GoAnywhere preferred), Workload Automation (AutoSys preferred), or comparable enterprise platforms. •3+ years of experience designing and supporting secure, scalable, highly available solutions utilizing AWS and modern integration patterns, including APIs, file-based, and event-driven architectures. Required Skills: •Own and lead the firm's Managed File Transfer and Workload Automation services, ensuring security, reliability, scalability, compliance, and alignment with business objectives. •Provide technical leadership for GoAnywhere, AutoSys, and enterprise data orchestration platforms, defining architecture, standards, roadmaps, and long-term strategy. •Design and enhance secure, resilient, and observable data movement and workflow automation solutions across on-premises, cloud, and partner ecosystems. •Develop service capabilities for data protection, access control, monitoring, auditability, exception management, and operational transparency. •Lead resolution of complex production issues, serve as the highest-level technical escalation point, and drive continuous service improvement through root cause analysis and corrective actions. •Partner across engineering, infrastructure, cloud, security, and vendor teams to deliver integrated, compliant, and high-performing enterprise solutions. •Ensure business continuity through disaster recovery, resiliency, retention, recovery, and governance capabilities for critical enterprise services. •Mentor engineers and evaluate emerging technologies to modernize platforms, improve service capabilities, and guide future investment decisions. Qualifications: •Demonstrated success as a senior engineer, technical lead, or escalation point for mission-critical enterprise services. •Strong expertise in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, observability, and operational excellence. •Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with both technical and business stakeholders. •Demonstrated capacity to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional environment. •Demonstrated capacity to work at a computer and use standard business software for extended periods during the workday. •Communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and business partners in person and electronically as needed. •Engage in regular in-person interaction and collaboration with team members and other stakeholders. •Work effectively in a professional office environment with ongoing collaboration, activity, and shifting priorities. •Maintain productivity and focus while balancing multiple tasks and interruptions common in an in-person business setting.
