See details about what we do. •This position is a member of our Waste Permit Division. •Here's What You'll Be Doing •Conduct geoscientific and other moderately complex technical reviews and evaluations of applications, reports and plans pertaining to waste management; determine compliance with applicable laws, rules, technical principles, policies, and procedures; and process to completion. •Provide information concerning authorizations and authorization processes to internal and external customers through verbal communication, correspondence, meetings, presentations, and public hearings. •Assist customers on the waste permits program through verbal communication, correspondence, data reports, presentations, and responses to Public Information Requests (PIRs). Qualifications: •Licensed as a Geoscientist by the Texas Board of Professional Geoscientists (TBPG). •OR Five years of full-time geoscientist experience and must be licensed as a Geoscientist by the Texas Board of Professional Geoscientists (TBPG) or obtain licensure within twelve (12) months of hire date. •Licensed as a Geoscientist by the Texas Board of Professional Geoscientists (TBPG) •Plus two years of full-time geoscientist experience beyond licensure. •Seven years of full-time geoscientist experience and must obtain Geoscientist licensure within twelve (12) months of hire date by the Texas Board of Professional Geoscientists (TBPG). •A graduate degree in a geoscience discipline may substitute for one year of the required experience, with a maximum of two years substitution allowed. •Plus four years of full-time geoscientific experience beyond licensure. •Nine years of full-time geoscientist experience and must obtain Geoscientist licensure within twelve (12) months of hire date by the Texas Board of Professional Geoscientists (TBPG). •TRANSCRIPT/ COLLEGE HOURS Or COURSE WORK •See instructions on how to attach documents.
