Required Skills: •Provide high quality individual, trust, estate, gift, foundation, and business tax compliance services as well as estate planning advisory services •Develop and implement tax planning strategies in alignment with client goals and objectives, including coordinating with advisors to integrate tax considerations into financial plans and investment strategies •Review individual, trust, estate, gift, business entity, and foundation returns •Handle Federal and State tax notices and audits •Review and analyze estate planning related legal documents •Research Federal, State and International tax laws, prepare tax memorandums on technical topics, and develop tax savings strategies •Be proactive and stay current on new tax legislation and tax reform •Calculating depletion and depreciation, including cost and percentage methods Qualifications: •BA/BS degree in Accounting from an accredited college/university, JD, or MS in Tax required •Active CPA, EA or state bar license required (eligible to be listed on POAs is required) •Extensive experience in Tax Advisory and Gift/Estate/Trust planning and compliance for sophisticated high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families •Demonstrated capacity to establish and maintain strong client relationships •Excellent verbal and written communication skills •Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications required •Preferred experience with CCH Axcess Tax & Bloomberg Income Tax Planner (Formerly BNA) •Must be able and willing to work additional hours as needed to meet client deliverables •This position description is intended to provide a general overview of the expectations and responsibilities of this position and may not include all tasks that may be assigned. The pay range for this position is $121,900-$172,500 USD per year.
