Required Skills: •Prepare individual, trust, estate, gift, foundation, and business tax returns on a timely basis •Review tax source documents and data pushed through OCR for accuracy •Conduct tax research to support tax planning and compliance efforts •Be proactive and stay current on new tax legislation and tax reform •Assist with handling Federal and State Tax notices •Maintain detailed and organized tax files, including documenting all relevant information and supporting documents for tax returns. •Collect and input relevant financial records into tax return software or databases. •Analyze tax data submitted by clients to maximize the outcome to the client. Qualifications: •Solid accounting and knowledge of tax laws and regulations in general. •Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and tax applications (e.g. CCH Axcess). •Demonstrated capacity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. •Effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. •Superior problem-solving abilities as well as good decision-making skills. •Strong analytical and deductive reasoning skills. •Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to effectively manage a variety of projects accurately and simultaneously within strict deadlines. •Demonstrated capacity to provide exceptional client service and exhibits a sense a of urgency to complete work in a timely and accurate manner •BA/BS degree in Accounting from an accredited college/university required; Master’s in Taxation or Accountancy preferred •Active CPA licensed or seeking CPA license preferred Compensation: •$79,000 - $115,000 / year Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
