Hiring: Tax Analyst - Income Tax (Dallas) Company: Texas Instruments Location: Dallas, TX Job Posted Time: 2026-09-16 20:39:29 Target Skills & Keywords : Embedded Systems, R, SAP About the job Experience: •3+ years of related work experience (experience at a large corporation with multistate presence or at a large public accounting firm a plus) Required Skills: •Specifically, This Role Is Responsible For The Following •Prepare complex federal and state income tax returns •Participate in various aspects of domestic income tax compliance, such as tax calculations for fixed assets, stock compensation, and R&D credit, and managing domestic inputs and consolidated return tie-outs in the tax compliance software •Assist with the federal and state quarterly estimated payment, extension and provision processes •Research tax technical issues and communicate the federal and/or state implications for TI tax compliance in a clear and concise manner •Participate in various tax planning activities and assist with special projects •Identify and lead process improvement initiatives that streamline and influence TI-level processes within the tax function •Support efforts to defend US tax filings upon audit by the IRS Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field required (CPA or CPA eligible and/or Master’s degree in taxation or accounting a plus) •Solid functional working knowledge of federal and state tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements •Solid functional working knowledge of corporate income tax software solutions •Strong research skills and working knowledge of tax research tools such as RIA Checkpoint or BNA/Bloomberg •Demonstrated capacity to take initiative and work independently and effectively under pressure and manage deadlines •Strong analytical skills, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities •Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a dual-reporting role •Base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range.
