This onsite position is based at the Corporate Office in Akron, Ohio. •Analyzing and modeling the tax impacts of business transactions and changes in tax laws and regulations in collaboration with Accounting, Finance, Regulatory, and operational teams •Performing various accounting and analytical tasks to support calculation of the income tax provision, including preparing journal entries for monthly and quarterly closing and documentation relating to financial reporting and internal control functions, as needed •Compiling and analyzing data necessary to support the preparation and filing of federal and state income and non-income tax returns, as needed •Compiling and analyzing data necessary to support the preparation and filing of various regulatory reports and/or rate cases Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or comparable degree with Accounting minor or specialization, required •Minimum 0-2 years of work experience required •Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint), experience with SAP preferred but not required, and ability to learn other company/industry specific applications •Demonstrated capacity to follow established practices, procedures, and instructions, and produce accurate and timely work product •Flexibility and ability to adapt to shifting priorities •Excellent written and verbal communication skills •Demonstrated capacity to work independently on special assignments as directed Compensation: •Flexible work environment (work from home / hybrid options) Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
