Required Skills: •Prepare federal and state corporate income tax returns including book-to-tax adjustments (M-1) and state apportionment calculations •Assist with quarterly and year-end income tax provision calculations •Calculate and process quarterly estimated tax payments •Support federal and state audits by gathering documentation and communicating with tax authorities •Participate in special projects, including tax planning initiatives and due diligence efforts •Manage and respond to tax notices, interacting with state representatives as needed •Provide general administrative support to the tax function Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree in Accounting •General understanding of federal and state compliance concepts •Solid functional working knowledge of tax and accounting principles •Strong analytical and problem-solving skills •Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word •Meticulous attention to detail and organization •Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team •Demonstrated capacity to work independently and manage multiple priorities •For over 50 years, Verisk has been the leading data analytics and technology partner to the global insurance industry by delivering value to our clients through expertise and scale.
