Hiring: Talent Acquisition Specialist Company: Gemspring Capital Location: Fairfield County, CT Job Posted Time: 2026-09-10 15:08:02 Employment Type: Remote About the job Experience: •3 to 5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including in-house recruiting in a high growth environment, with prior agency or executive search experience at a leading firm a plus •5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including in-house recruiting in a high growth environment, with prior agency or executive search experience at a leading firm a plus Required Skills: •Partner with Managing Directors and functional leaders to scope roles, define success profiles, and set search strategy, timelines, and compensation expectations. •Source directly through LinkedIn Recruiter, referrals, alumni networks, and targeted research into competitor and adjacent talent pools. Build warm pipelines ahead of repeat roles. •Run first-round screens against the firm's competency framework, coordinate interviews across demanding calendars, administer case studies, facilitate debriefs, and conduct structured reference checks. •Prepare offer recommendations, extend and negotiate offers, and stay close to candidates through resignation and start date. •Own the new hire experience from signed offer through the first 90 days: pre-start logistics, systems and equipment, day one, role-specific onboarding plans, and 30, 60, and 90 day check-ins. •Own the applicant tracking system and recruiting data. Produce hiring updates for firm leadership, draft job descriptions and postings, and manage the firm's candidate-facing presence. Qualifications: •Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or HR certification not required •Demonstrated ability to run searches end to end with limited oversight, from intake and market mapping through offer, close, and onboarding •Advanced direct sourcing capability, deep fluency in pipeline strategy and candidate assessment, and strong command of compensation and market dynamics •Fluent with AI tools and comfortable putting them to work in the recruiting process, including sourcing, research, screening, outreach, and reporting, with sound judgment about where human assessment cannot be delegated •Highly motivated and entrepreneurial, with a track record of strong performance and ownership under pressure •Strong communicator, clear and concise in writing and in person, with the presence to engage credibly with Managing Directors, senior candidates, search partners, and external stakeholders •Exceptional organization, attention to detail, and discretion with confidential information Compensation: •Flexible work environment (work from home / hybrid options) Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
