Hiring: Talent Acquisition Specialist Company: Shimmick Corporation Location: Dallas, TX Job Posted Time: 2026-09-12 12:42:56 Target Skills & Keywords : Microsoft Office About the job Experience: •2 years of relevant recruiting experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. •2+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience in the construction industry, ideally inclusive of professional-level civil, mechanical, and electrical positions. Required Skills: •Facilitates and implements all phases of the recruitment process. •Sources, screens, and engages candidates through networking and referrals, proactive sourcing, and direct outreach. •Collaborates with department managers to identify accurate hiring needs. •Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization. •Assists with job posting and advertisement processes. •Assists with the interview process, coordinating candidate travel, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders, as needed. •Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies. •Travels to company offices and project sites, as needed. Qualifications: •BA/BS degree + 2 years of relevant recruiting experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. •Exceptional organization skills with strong attention to detail; deadline driven. •Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills; confident in public speaking and presenting. •Agency recruiting experience highly preferred. •Excellent verbal and written communication skills. •Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics. •Demonstrated capacity to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of professional roles. •Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative. •Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. •Operational familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
