Hiring: Talent Acquisition and Workforce Partnerships Specialist Company: The Blood Connection Location: Charleston, SC Job Posted Time: 2026-09-16 10:23:57 About the job Required Skills: •· Leads day-to-day recruitment activities and ensures open positions receive timely and appropriate recruiting attention. •· Actively identifies, sources, and engages active and passive candidates for current and anticipated staffing needs. •· Proactively sources candidates through direct outreach rather than relying solely on applicants generated through posted positions. •· Develops and maintains candidate pipelines for high-volume, difficult-to-fill, critical, and anticipated staffing needs. •· Builds partnerships that create opportunities for individuals to learn about, prepare for, and pursue careers within the organization. •· Develops and maintains relationships with local schools, colleges, universities, technical schools, career and technical education programs, workforce development organizations, career centers, nonprofits, and community organizations to expand candidate pipelines. •· Identifies community workforce trends, barriers to employment, and emerging talent opportunities and communicates relevant observations to the Manager of Talent Acquisition. •· Identifies and develops new community partnerships based on organizational staffing needs, geographic markets, available talent, and local workforce conditions. Qualifications: •· Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline preferred. •· Three or more years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferred, including demonstrated experience with proactive candidate sourcing and direct outreach. •· Demonstrated success identifying and engaging passive candidates and developing talent pipelines for high-volume, difficult-to-fill, or critical positions. •· Strong knowledge of candidate sourcing strategies and tools, including resume databases, job boards, social media, professional networking platforms, employee referrals, community partnerships, recruiting events, and recruiting technology. •· Ability to manage multiple recruiting priorities and adjust sourcing efforts based on changing staffing needs in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment. •· Ability to analyze recruiting activity and results, identify trends, and adjust sourcing strategies based on data and staffing needs. •· Strong communication, interpersonal, networking, and candidate engagement skills. •· Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with candidates, hiring managers, leadership, staff, community organizations, and external recruiting partners. •· Strong organizational skills with demonstrated attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate and timely recruiting records. •· Ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion when handling sensitive and confidential information.
