D708 is responsible for supporting Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard & Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF) with engineering reviews, material acquisition assistance, planning and logistics support. •This is a full-time role that supports Navy-commissioned submarines during CNO and other maintenance availabilities. •The position is located at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard in Honolulu, Hawaii. Candidates are expected to research and evaluate whether this relocation aligns with their desired lifestyle. •Assist the Shipyard, Squadron, SHAPEC and AIT personnel at PHNSY with respect to VIRGINIA Class design products (drawings, ERs, DFSs, LARs, ShipAlts). •Provide technical assistance to resolve issues understanding the contents of these VIRGINIA Class design products. •Provide documents (up to and including U-NNPI) to them if they do not have access to ATIS or CITIS. OSRs do not have Technical authority. •Facilitate and coordinate training on VIRGINIA Class systems, components, and Block (flight)changes. •Maintain situational awareness of PHNSY, Squadron, and Project by attending daily Project and Repair Office meetings. Qualifications: •Bachelor of Science degree or higher in Engineering or Science •Flexibility of schedule; willingness to work occasional odd hours •Demonstrated capacity to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance through the DoD •This position is located on Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard in Honolulu, Hawaii.
