Required Skills: •The Systems Engineer III supports MDA-aligned missile defense programs with a focus on requirements development, system verification, technical risk management, and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE). The role works across engineering disciplines, customers, and suppliers to drive technical planning, execution, and program success. •Lead and maintain system, subsystem, and interface requirements; ensure traceability and compliance with MDA standards. •Develop verification plans, procedures, compliance matrices, and support system-level reviews, inspections, and tests. •Identify and manage technical risks, mitigation plans, and risk-tracking documentation. •Develop and maintain MBSE artifacts using SysML and Cameo/MagicDraw. •Coordinate with propulsion, software, hardware, test, GNC, quality, safety, customers, and suppliers. •Support configuration/change control, SRR/PDR/CDR/TRR reviews, technical planning, schedules, and engineering deliverables. Qualifications: •Operational familiarity with MDA processes, technical reviews, and CDRL development. •Hands-on MBSE experience using SysML and Cameo Systems Modeler/MagicDraw. •Bachelor's degree in systems, aerospace, mechanical engineering, or related STEM field; master's degree preferred and may substitute for 1 year of experience. •Able to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance and meet U.S. Government ITAR/EAR eligibility requirements. •DOORS or equivalent requirements tools; SysML diagrams; Cameo/MagicDraw; systems engineering lifecycle standards; technical risk management; technical writing and presentations; Microsoft Office, Visio, and Project. Experience with MDA/defense technical reviews, DoDAF, INCOSE ASEP/CSEP, EVM, or scheduling tools is a plus. •Approximately 10% travel.
