Required Skills: •Determine impacts on the weapon system, requirements, and other design specifications during engineering development. •Review, analyze, and create requirements at multiple levels (SSS, SSDD, SRS, HRS) for weapon system capability and functionality. •Develop Candidate Change Packages (CCP) to engineer new system capabilities and document design details and impacts in models and engineering documents. •Review, analyze, and develop system architectures, utilizing modeling tools such as MagicDraw. •Provide human factors engineering, prototyping, and analysis support for the development and maintenance of the system user interface requirements and specifications (e.g., the Human Computer Interface (HCI) Design Specification). •Review, analyze, provide inputs, make updates, and adjudicate comments for external interface documents. •Create change requests (CR) and resolve CRs related to system problems and/or discrepancies between design documentation and system functionality. •Provide engineering expertise during IPT meetings, Engineering Review Boards (ERB), Deficiency Review Boards (DRB), Change Review Boards (CRB), and Interface Working Groups (IWG) by performing package development, package review, and comment and documentation of results. Qualifications: •Must be able to learn quickly. •Must be able to effectively communicate and disseminate information verbally and in writing. •Must be able to work on a diverse team with other contractors and government personnel. •A Bachelor’s of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline.
