Required Skills: •Lead and oversee the systems engineering, integration, verification, validation, and technical coordination of solid rocket propulsion systems and their interfaces across the full product lifecycle. •Lead and oversee designing, developing, integrating, testing, and maintaining mission-critical software and software-enabled systems supporting Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR), national security, defense, and space applications. Qualifications: •4–10 years of professional experience developing software in a production, mission-critical, aerospace, defense, intelligence, or other highly regulated technical environment. •Demonstrated experience with one or more modern programming languages such as C++, Python, Java, C#, Rust, or similar. •Demonstrated capacity to work effectively in a collaborative, agile, and fast-paced engineering environment and communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. •Demonstrated capacity to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance, if required for the assigned position. •Active U.S. Security Clearance and/or experience working within classified environments, along with familiarity with secure software development and DevSecOps practices. •Travel up to 10%, including the possibility of overnights, to support customers, program activities, integration and test events, suppliers, or other business needs. •Demonstrated capacity to work in office, laboratory, integration, test, and other operational environments as required by the program. •Certain positions may require eligibility for a U.S. Security Clearance and/or compliance with applicable export-control requirements. •The good faith base salary range for this role is $104,000–$227,000 at the time of this posting. Where you fall within the range depends on your experience, skills, and location. This range reflects base salary only and does not include benefits or bonus/incentive. •4 years of relevant professional experience OR Master’s degree in a related technical field with 2 years of relevant professional experience OR 8 years of relevant software engineering experience in lieu of a degree.
