Hiring: Systems Engineer 1 Company: Cook Medical Location: Greater Bloomington Area Job Posted Time: 2026-09-10 14:37:40 Target Skills & Keywords : Manufacturing Execution Systems, Project Management About the job Required Skills: •Interface directly with stakeholders to define business needs and user requirements •Understand MES design, including how MES influences other systems •Participate in and/or lead the design of MES system functionality •Develop procedures for management and utilization of the MES system •Interface directly with IT to coordinate MES system validation •Develop training materials to support new MES system functionality •Coordinate with site teams to implement new MES functionality, including data migration, policy/procedural changes, and training •Ensure that lessons learned are captured following implementation Qualifications: •College degree required and/or equivalent relevant work experience in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Chemical, or Biomedical •Effective oral and written communication skills. •Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in collaborative and independent work situations and environments with minimal supervision. •Works under general office environment conditions. •Utilizes close visual acuity for working with computers and equipment. •Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, and communicate. •Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job, subject to reasonable accommodation requirements under the ADA. •Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States.
