Required Skills: •This is a hands-on, operational role for someone who can work independently, take ownership, and be trusted to manage the environment in the absence of direct oversight. The ideal candidate is technically strong, detail-oriented, and capable of maintaining a stable, secure, and high-performing infrastructure in a fast-paced environment. •This position will be based in our Austin office in Texas. •Own the monitoring, maintenance, and overall health of physical and virtual server infrastructure across multiple sites, including proactive system health checks and issue resolution. •Administer and support Windows and Linux (Ubuntu) operating systems. •Administer and support Active Directory, Group Policy, Entra ID, and Microsoft 365 identity access management. •Manage virtualization platforms (Proxmox, Nutanix, Hyper-V, and VMware), including provisioning, lifecycle management, and resource optimization. •Oversee patch management process and ensure compliance of vulnerability remediation. •Oversee core infrastructure services such as DNS, DHCP, file services, backups, and Microsoft 365 collaboration tools (e.g., SharePoint Online). Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent enterprise IT experience). •3–5 years of experience in systems administration / infrastructure support. •Strong experience with Windows Server administration, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and hybrid environments (on-prem AD + Entra ID / Microsoft 365). •Strong experience with Proxmox and ubuntu. •Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, routing). •Demonstrated capacity to work independently, prioritize effectively, and operate with minimal supervision. •Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) or Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900). •Nutanix Certified Professional (NCP) and/or VMware Certified Professional (VCP).
