Required Skills: •Perform routine server vulnerability remediation/mitigation (main job function) and software patching tasks following documented procedures. •Assist with system baseline hardening using DISA STIGs. •Assist with installation, configuration, maintenance, and monitoring of Windows server-based systems. •Support management of user accounts, privileged access, and group memberships in on-premises and cloud environments. •Assist with deployment and configuration of mission-supporting applications and infrastructure. •Execute automation scripts for routine tasks developed by senior team members. •Maintain system documentation, inventories, and procedural updates. •Monitor systems and escalate issues appropriately. Qualifications: •Foundational knowledge of Windows server environments. •Operational familiarity with Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft M365. •Exposure to virtualization platforms such as VMware, Proxmox, or Red Hat Virtualization. •Basic scripting experience (PowerShell preferred). •Demonstrated capacity to follow procedures and technical documentation. •Demonstrated ability to clearly and effectively communicate both verbally and in written format. •Strong planning and organizational skills with attention to detail and a focus on delivery. •Demonstrated capacity to build strong working relationships across all levels of an organization. •Demonstrated capacity to work as part of a diverse team. •Demonstrated capacity to translate technical information to an audience-appropriate level.
