Hiring: Systems Administrator Company: McMillan Pazdan Smith Architecture Location: Atlanta, GA Job Posted Time: 2026-09-16 18:18:38 Employment Type: Full-time / Remote Target Skills & Keywords : PowerShell, Windows Server About the job Required Skills: •Administer and maintain servers, cloud services, virtualization platforms, storage, backups, and core IT systems. •Develop, and automate the packaging and deployment of complex applications—including heavy AEC-specific software like the Autodesk AEC suite. •Manage Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, user access controls, group management, and related identity services. •Support endpoint management, application patch management, operating system configuration, device compliance, and lifecycle processes. •Manage application updates and patching cadences, for Autodesk products and other enterprise applications. •Monitor system health, performance, availability, and security; proactively address issues to reduce business disruption. •Perform system upgrades, patching, configuration changes, vulnerability remediation, and routine maintenance activities. •Serve as an escalation point for complex technical issues, providing root-cause analysis, clear communication, and timely resolution. Qualifications: •Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience. •Three or more years of experience in systems administration, including server, identity, endpoint, and infrastructure support. •In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure principles, including networking, hardware, software, security, backup, and recovery concepts. •Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess complex technical issues and implement effective solutions. •Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical information to technical and non-technical stakeholders. •Relevant certifications or equivalent technical experience in systems administration, cloud services, cybersecurity, networking, or endpoint management. •Bachelor's or master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. •Microsoft certifications or equivalent industry certifications are preferred.
