Experience with CDUs, liquid cooling, or thermofluid systems is strongly preferred. Required Skills: •We are seeking an experienced Thermofluid Systems Test Engineer (Electrical) with strong hands-on expertise in validation testing, automation, controls, instrumentation, data acquisition, and electrical systems. This is an execution-focused role with clear ownership from early product development through qualification and production release. •Own test methods, fixtures, controls integration, and data acquisition systems while working closely with mechanical, electrical, software, and systems engineers to validate requirements and accelerate product development. •Success in this role requires strong experimental judgment, a solid understanding of electrical and control systems, comfort working independently in a laboratory environment, and the ability to execute complex testing with minimal direction. •Own hands-on testing and validation of Coolant Distribution Units (CDUs) and related subsystems, including electrical systems, controls, pumps, heat exchangers, valves, sensors, and instrumentation. •Design, build, instrument, and operate automated test systems used to evaluate controls functionality, electrical performance, reliability, thermofluid behavior, and overall system performance. •Develop and maintain PLC-based controls, electrical architectures, instrumentation, data acquisition systems, and automation required for development, qualification, and production testing. •Execute test plans, analyze results, and provide clear, data-driven feedback to mechanical, electrical, software, and systems engineering teams. •Support product development by translating test data into actionable design improvements, risk assessments, and validation evidence. Qualifications: •Demonstrated experience with electrical systems, controls integration, instrumentation, automation, and system-level validation testing. •Proven ability to design, build, instrument, and commission custom test equipment, including sensors, PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, power distribution, safety interlocks, and data acquisition systems. •In-depth knowledge of electrical schematics, control panel design, wiring practices, instrumentation, and troubleshooting of low-voltage electrical systems. •Proficiency with PLC-based controls, test automation, communication protocols, and control logic development for automated test sequences and safe system operation. •Strong data acquisition and analysis skills, including sensor selection, calibration, data logging, signal conditioning, and post-processing of test data. •Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex electrical, controls, and system-level issues through hands-on testing and structured root cause analysis. •Demonstrated capacity to clearly document and communicate test plans, results, failures, and engineering recommendations to cross-functional teams and senior leadership. •Hands-on experience designing electrical schematics, control panels, PCB assemblies, wiring harnesses, and instrumentation systems used in product development and test environments. •Demonstrated ability to design and implement automated test systems, including controls logic, electrical interfaces, instrumentation, and data collection software. •Strong background in sensor selection, signal conditioning, analog and digital I/O, data acquisition, and measurement system design.
