Location: Houston, TX Job Posted Time: 2026-09-10 15:13:11 Target Skills & Keywords : Project Management, Regulatory Compliance, Root Cause Analysis About the job Experience: •5 years General Safety or Environment of Care experience in lieu of education •3 years Management level experience in a position dedicated to either General Safety or Environment of Care programs, Required Required Skills: •Strong leadership qualities (task completion, motivation, organization) •Knowledge of and experience with analysis techniques (methods), including root cause analysis, cause and effect analysis, and corrective or preventative action plan development •Proven team building skills with clinical and operations teams including medical staff •Demonstrated capacity to establish and maintain collaborative and effective working relationships •Demonstrated capacity to communicate professionally and effectively in oral, written and electronic formats with both internal and external customers •Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking abilities with proactive decision-making and negotiation skills •Demonstrated capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously •Demonstrate a high degree of responsibility, accountability and Attend staff meetings or other company sponsored or mandated meetings as required Qualifications: •Bachelor's Degree, required •Master's Degree, preferred •Supervisory Responsibilities: Directly supervises Safety Management personnel as assigned and provides oversight of contracted facility management partners, consultants, and vendors. Responsible for performance management, employee development, work prioritization, goal setting, and ensuring achievement of departmental objectives. •Preferred Certifications include: CHFM (Certified Healthcare Facility Manager), CHSP (Certified Healthcare Safety Professional), CHEP (Certified Healthcare Emergency Professional), Certified Facility Manager (CFM), Project Management Professional (PMP) •Knowledge of and experience with hospital Infection Prevention & Control systems and standards •Knowledge of state and federal laws including but not limited to, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) guidelines and National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) codes.
