Hiring: SVP Fund Compliance Company: JCW Group Location: New York City Metropolitan Area Job Posted Time: 2026-09-11 11:40:44 Target Skills & Keywords : CFA, Portfolio Management About the job Experience: •8+ years of compliance experience within an RIA, asset management firm, or fund complex, with substantial focus on product and/or fund compliance. Required Skills: •Serve as the primary compliance advisor on new product ideation and development, evaluating proposed strategies, structures, and vehicles for regulatory feasibility and risk. •Advise on fund and product structuring decisions (e.g., '40 Act funds, private funds, SMAs, collective investment trusts, ETFs) and assess the regulatory implications of structuring choices under the Investment Advisers Act, Investment Company Act, and related securities laws. •Lead compliance work streams for new product and fund launches, including registration statements, offering documents, prospectuses, SAIs, private placement memoranda, and marketing materials. •Coordinate with legal, portfolio management, operations, and distribution teams throughout the launch process to ensure regulatory requirements and internal policies are met on schedule. •Design and implement ongoing compliance monitoring and oversight programs for existing products and funds, including investment guideline monitoring, prospectus/PPM adherence, and applicable regulatory filings. •Monitor evolving SEC, state, and other regulatory requirements relevant to product structuring and fund compliance, and translate changes into practical guidance for the business. Qualifications: •Bachelor's degree required; JD, CFA, or other advanced degree/credential a plus. •Demonstrated experience supporting the full product lifecycle — ideation, structuring, regulatory analysis, launch, and ongoing oversight — for registered and/or private fund vehicles. •Strong working knowledge of the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, Investment Company Act of 1940, and related SEC rules and regulations governing fund structuring, registration, and disclosure.
