The Experienced Survivability Systems Engineer/Scientist supports multidisciplinary survivability tasks through all satellite program phases. •The Survivability group is a multidisciplinary department which analyzes vehicles for Space Environmental disciplines such as: Contamination, Micrometeoroid, Single Event Effects, Radiation, Electro 641 •Magnetic Compatibility, Electrostatic discharge, test and qualification of new materials, etc. As part of the Survivability team the candidate will get the opportunity to apply an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to assist with analyses, design, development and verification of a lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions. •Collaborate effectively with various technical disciplines in a team environment to balance factors such as survivability, cost, weight, and technical risk in the final design. •Execute and oversee the analysis and testing of material, units, subsystem and system performance in simulated space environments. Qualifications: •This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements.
